Our founding group of 4 began in 2024 with an idea to fill a need to connect ARTISTS with COMMUNITY.

We are still in the process of fleshing out what that means, but in a nutshell we believe that there is a greater opportunity for Artists to share their gifts and therein to gain a following with community members, whether they be corporate sponsors or community groups raising money for needs of the public sector.

We all benefit by recognizing the beauty of the little things we can share.

Informally, we started within our own ergonomic art group by having online auctions throughout the year to celebrate our art making and to raise funds for charities that we chose to support. We raised over $10,000 in such a simple act of giving and we wanted to expand on that idea.

Our first BIG step up to the plate came when we had the opportunity to help the Saskatoon Foodbank & Learning Centre convert their 30 year fundraiser under the name of Artists against Hunger… into a new, reimagined concept which could be more inclusive and celebrate the diversity of the Saskatoon community. We called in HeARTworks and our first annual event will be taking place at TCU on April 25, 2025.
